Security at My Peachy Books

My Peachy Books is designed to keep business workspaces isolated, enforce permissions on sensitive operations, and preserve accounting and audit evidence.

Encrypted Connections

The published Service is delivered over HTTPS so data transmitted between your browser and the application is encrypted in transit.

Business-Level Data Isolation

Business records are scoped to a business workspace. Server-side authorization checks validate membership and permissions for sensitive operations rather than relying only on what the browser displays.

Roles and Permissions

Owners and administrators can assign roles and access. Accounting, inventory, team-management, and other protected actions enforce role or module permissions appropriate to the operation.

Audit and Accounting Evidence

Important financial, security, subscription, and administrative operations preserve durable records and audit evidence. High-risk posting and repair workflows are designed to fail closed when required evidence is incomplete or conflicting.

Payment Information

Subscription checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. My Peachy Books does not collect or store full payment-card numbers in its application database.

AI Access Boundaries

AI-assisted features operate within the authenticated user's business context and permissions. Sensitive AI operations use server-side authorization and audit controls; AI features do not grant additional access to business data.

Your part in account security

  • Use a trusted authentication account and protect access to your email or identity provider.
  • Grant team access only to people who need it and remove access promptly when responsibilities change.
  • Review roles and permissions before allowing users to post accounting or inventory transactions.
  • Contact us if you believe an account or business workspace has been accessed without authorization.
